a. Personal Data Notice in relation to Traders Summit event
The company under the corporate name “ForexAnalytix LLC”, having its registered seat at 10869 N. Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85254 USA (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”), which hosts, organizes and performs the Traders Summit event (“TraderSummit.net”) (hereinafter referred to as the “Event”, being in full compliance with the principles laid down in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of the 27th April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter the “General Data Protection Regulation” and/or the “GDPR”), as well as with the applicable national and European legislation on the protection of personal data, aims hereinafter to inform you on the processing of any personal data conducted on its part with respect to the Traders Summit event, which will take place online from the 25th until the 27th of September 2020, by registering at the Event’s web page www.TraderSummit.net
Categories of personal data: The Company, acting as a data controller, will collect and process personal data of individuals who register at www.TraderSummit.net. and attend the event. More specifically, the Company will process personal data including exclusively the name, surname, e-mail address and telephone number of the attendees.
Purpose and legal basis for the processing: The Company, as well as the Recipients of the personal data, will process the personal data only if it has a legitimate reason to do so and, in particular, (a) when the processing is necessary for the performance of the event and in order for the individuals to attend the Event; (b) when the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defense of any legal claims; (c) for advertising, marketing and promotional purposes of their services and in any case after receiving prior consent of the natural persons, provided during the registration process of the Event, along with the acceptance of the Terms of Service, under which the Event is governed and construed with.
You may withdraw your aforementioned consent at any time by emailing us at support@tradersummit.net.
Recipients of personal data: Recipients of the attendees’ personal data (hereinafter “Data Recipients”), besides the Company and its associate Forest Park FX, will be the sponsors of the Event, i.e. Pepperstone, CMT Association, Toroso Investments and Trading Indicators, as well all speakers who participate in the Event, as referred in detail in the Event’s web page.
Information may be disclosed for audit or research purposes, to attorneys or other professionals, or to law enforcement and regulatory agencies, Government agencies and regulators as required by law or regulation to which the company is subject.
Retention period: Personal data will be safely stored for as long as it is necessary for the satisfaction of each of the above Purposes and, more specifically, to a maximum period of 5 years from the completion of the registration process to the Event.
Access to personal data by third parties: The Company does not provide to any third party access to the personal data it collects and processes as the data controller. By way of exception, it may provide access only if it is absolutely necessary for the legitimate purposes pursued to the partners, associates, lawyers, secretaries and other members of its personnel, counsels, companies providing systems, operations and/or services essential for the provision of its services, state entities, public authorities, courts, administrative or judicial authorities etc. provided that such parties comply with the minimum standards set by our Company with respect to the protection of personal data.
Data subject’s rights: All natural persons the personal data of whom are being processed enjoy the rights to be informed and to have access to their personal data, to object to the processing, to obtain the restriction of the processing, the right to obtain the erasure of their personal data (right to be forgotten), the right to data portability, as well as the right to file a complaint to the respective Data Protection Authority of their residence.
