Is This Gold’s Time to Shine?
Gold is now entering one of its strongest periods during the month of August. The seasonal trend actually starts a little earlier, so when combined with strong fundamental reasons to buy gold then this seasonal pattern is well worth being aware of.
Over the last 10 years between July 25 and August 29, gold has gained a total of 8 times and lost value twice. The largest gain was 8.64% and the largest fall was -1.65%. The average return has been 2.75%.
Will gold gain again during this period?
Major Trade Risks: Watch out for any reasons for USD strength and a rise in real yields to provide a natural headwind for gold. See here for more detail.
