Thoughtful Money: Interview + A Big Announcement
Good morning, Subscribers!
Last week, I recorded a pretty extensive interview with my friend and frequent host Adam Taggart of the high-finance podcast, Thoughtful Money. The interview is now live and, for the convenience of anyone who might have missed it, linked at the end of this brief note.
For those of you who joined us for our Ask Haymaker Anything! (AHA!) last week, most of the charts are the same, but the interaction with Adam created a considerably higher energy level. Accordingly, you may still want to check this out. Additionally, based on today’s bombshell jobs report, our discussion turned out to be accurately anticipatory. In particular, the monster downward revisions to the initially reported numbers for May and June validated the skepticism Adam and I shared regarding their supposed robustness, especially the first June release.
I’d also like to take a moment to make a quick announcement.
Beginning later this month, I will be joining Adam for regular “Month in Review”-style interviews. These will see us discussing some of the more seismic, headline-making ideas he’s encountered over the preceding few weeks to provide his audience with a Haymaker Take on the merits (or lunacies) of it all. If we decide to live-stream any of these monthly appearances, the Haymaker club will have plenty of notice to make sure any of you who would like to attend can plan accordingly.
Adam Taggart has been a tremendous ally of this newsletter since July of 2022 (during his Wealthion days) and continues to be a wonderful friend to me as my team and I further our endeavors in the admittedly crowded arena of financial commentary. Earning and keeping traction in this business is a tough gig, but we’ve found some of our greatest successes are attributable directly to the support of people like Adam. For that reason, I’ll be honored to appear regularly on his program and hope you will all find time to listen in!
For now, enjoy this most recent edition of the Haymaker on Thoughtful Money!
