Blake Morrow of #ForexAnalytix talks about the week ahead in markets and discusses the highly anticipated Jackson Hole Symposium coming up this week.
With the recent rally in the USD this last week, the “buy the rumor, sell the news” may be the risk this next week as most participants expect the FOMC to stay hawkish.
Blake talks about the EURUSD and how the bear flag pattern may complete just below parity. Blake also discusses the breakdown in the GBPUSD and how the pair could trade to new lows. Blake also looks at the AUDUSD and how dips back to the .6800 – .6850 may provide near term buying opportunities.
He also thinks that stocks could trade to 4370’s in the SPX, gold continued to trade weak and could be further weakness in the crypto markets like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
