During this trading interview, Blake Morrow sits down with Katie Stockton of Fairlead Strategies and discusses Bitcoin Technical analysis, amongst other markets. She goes into how she approaches the market and views every asset with her technical indicators. Today, she is warning that the SPX bounce may be waning. She also looks at the bullish setup and breakout in crude oil and how it could move above $100. Katie then moves on to talk about bitcoin and how she doesn’t see anything (yet) that suggests the crypto currency is going to stop before new all time highs.

Katie Stockton, CMT is the Founder and Managing Partner of Fairlead Strategies, LLC.
Before she founded Fairlead Strategies she provided bitcoin technical analysis and research on Wall Street for 20 years.
Most recently, Katie Stockton served as Chief Technical Strategist for BTIG for four years, and prior to that she was the Chief Market Technician at MKM Partners for nine years. She also worked for technical strategy teams at Morgan Stanley and Wit Soundview.
Katie now provides her research and consulting services to financial institutions and individuals as a registered investment advisor.
Katie received her Chartered Market Technician (CMT®) designation in 2001, and later served as Vice President of the CMT Association from 2012 to 2016. In 2017, 2019, and 2020 she was honored by The Technical Analyst, a U.K. based publication, for her work.
Katie Stockton graduated with honors from the University of Richmond with a BSBA, and now she serves on the business school’s Executive Advisory Council. She is a member of the Endowment Investment Committee for Christ Church Greenwich. Ms. Stockton frequently shares her views on CNBC and other financial news networks, and often speaks at industry events and conferences.
